Event Info
Known for turning emotion into impact, SLANDER have built a sound that moves between soaring melodic bass, future bass and the heavier edges of electronic music. The Los Angeles-based duo of Derek Andersen and Scott Land have become one of dance music's most recognisable acts, balancing euphoric melodies and emotional vocals with explosive, bass-driven drops. Their breakout catalogue includes "Love Is Gone" with Dylan Matthew, "All You Need to Know" with Gryffin, and "Superhuman", alongside collaborations with artists including NGHTMRE, Excision, Subtronics, Alison Wonderland, Said The Sky, blackbear, Bring Me The Horizon and San Holo. Their 2022 debut album Thrive brought the different sides of the SLANDER sound together, while subsequent releases including "Wish I Could Forget" and "Broken Hearted" have continued to push their melodic approach forward. From Tomorrowland and EDC to Ultra, SLANDER have taken that sound to some of the world's biggest festival stages — building sets around the contrast that has become their signature: moments made to sing along to, followed by drops built for complete chaos. SLANDER comes to Zouk Singapore for a night of melodic bass, heavy drops and some of their biggest records.
