ZOUK SINGAPORE TO UNDERGO MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR TRANSFORMATION FROM JANUARY 2026
Ahead of its 35th anniversary, Zouk Group announces landmark renovation to prepare for its boldest era of entertainment experiences yet

Singapore, 5 January, 2026 – Homegrown international entertainment and lifestyle leader Zouk Group announces its most ambitious transformation to date – a multi-million-dollar renovation across its Singapore club venues – Zouk Mainroom, Phuture, Capital and RedTail. The phased renovation will begin in Q1 2026, with full completion targeted for June 2026.
“As we approach our 35th anniversary, Zouk remains committed to leading, evolving and enhancing entertainment and lifestyle experiences in Singapore,” says Andrew Li, CEO of Zouk Group. “In a global landscape marked by change, we are choosing to invest ambitiously in expanded capacity, state-of-the-art technology, and a rich spectrum of inclusive, multifaceted experiences that include live music and MICE to create a space where people can connect and express themselves and feel part of something larger. The investment goes beyond physical upgrades – it’s about strengthening the customer experience and deepening the sense of community that has always been at the heart of Zouk.”
In Singapore, Zouk has enjoyed a 28% YOY growth in total footfall. The club anticipates a 20% increase in foot traffic following the renovation, driven by the venue’s enhanced attraction value and renewed programming.
Supported by a lease extension with CapitaLand that secures its flagship at CQ @ Clarke Quay, the strategic direction and investment reflects a mutual commitment by Zouk Group and CapitaLand to invest in Singapore’s entertainment, nightlife and lifestyle sectors by futureproofing a national icon.
“CQ @ Clarke Quay and Zouk are both institutions in Singapore, synonymous with having a good time. Zouk has grown to become a global brand, with state-of-the-art clubs in vibrant cities such as Las Vegas and Tokyo.” says Nicholas Lee, Centre Manager, CQ @ Clarke Quay. “We look forward to Zouk’s reinvention of their “hometown” club, which will bring fresh energy and expanded experiences that directly support our mission of shaping CQ as a dynamic lifestyle destination.”
NEXT-LEVEL DESIGN AND WORLD-CLASS TECHNOLOGY
To reimagine this next chapter, Zouk Group has appointed two internationally acclaimed creative partners – Josh Held Design and Superlative – whose work for Zouk Tokyo led the brand’s global expansion. Zouk Group is tapping their creative synergy once again for its most significant reinvention yet.
The transformation of Zouk Mainroom will include a fully modular layout with movable acoustic walls to allow for spaces to be expanded or sectioned for diverse event formats – from intimate performances to large-scale launches. Each space will be enhanced with cutting-edge design, next-level functionality, and immersive aesthetics.
New York-based Held’s award-winning portfolio includes the world’s most iconic nightlife, hospitality and entertainment venues from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, Seoul to Tokyo. Known for crafting environments that feel transportive, Held harnesses the immersive power of cinema to create spaces that subconsciously move people into a different world through atmosphere, movement, texture and energy. His vision for Zouk Singapore will heighten connection, intensity and sensory immersion from the moment guests step inside.
Cutting-edge lighting and creative studio Superlative will lead the transformation of Zouk’s Audio, Visual and Lighting (AVL) landscape. With deep experience in lighting and AV innovation across global music venues, festivals, stage productions and light-art installations, Superlative transforms spaces through immersive illumination and visual storytelling. Superlative will introduce next-generation AVL design that elevates energy, emotion and atmosphere across every corner of Zouk Singapore.
All speaker systems will be upgraded to concert-grade technology, transforming Zouk into a dynamic, multi-functional space capable of hosting live acts and experiential events at an international standard for an increased capacity of up to 3,500 people across concepts.
Highlights include:
- Next-generation sound systems engineered for both DJ sets and live performances
- 12-metre-wide high-resolution LED walls for powerful visual storytelling
- A redesigned main entrance for Zouk mainroom and Phuture with streamlined flow for an elevated guest journey
- A premium VIP sofa experience with plush seating behind the DJ booth, delivering front-row access like never before.

While nightlife remains Zouk’s heartbeat, the brand will continue to expand to include curated daytime, lifestyle, and community-driven experiences and events. Limited edition collaborations and large-scale corporate partnerships will add new dimensions to Zouk’s programming, inviting broader audiences while preserving its core DNA in music and culture. From signature DJ sets and live acts to fashion pop-ups, wellness sessions, MICE and creative networking activations, Zouk’s day-to-night programming will engage diverse audiences seeking a variety of exceptional experiences.
